Service Agreement
Last updated: April 17, 2026 · Version 0.1 (pre-launch draft)
1. What Bridgestack is
This Service Agreement is between you (“you”, “Customer”) and BridgeStack, Inc., a Delaware corporation with offices at 2261 Market Street, STE 71424, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States (“Bridgestack”, “we”, “us”).
Bridgestack is not a subscription service. Each plan on the plans page is a flat, one-time price to have a specific type of product built for you by our AI agent team (briefed by Tom, our AI project manager). You pay once. You do not auto-renew. Nothing recurs.
2. Price and what it covers
The price shown on the plans page is the flat fee for that plan. Pass-through costs (domain registration, Apple Developer Program fees, code-signing certificates, App Store / Google Play fees, and similar third-party charges) are disclosed at checkout and are paid to the relevant third parties on your behalf. Pass-through costs are non-refundable once incurred.
[Counsel to finalize: exact listing of which pass-through items apply per plan, and per-jurisdiction disclosure standards (FTC, EU UCPD, UK DMCCA, India CCPA, Thailand PDPA).]
3. Delivery and the 7-day evaluation window
When your build is complete we deliver a working version of the product — website, desktop app, mobile app, full-stack app, or game build — and the clock starts. You have 7 days to use it, test it, and decide to complete payment.
Delivery is marked by an email to the address on your account confirming the delivery timestamp and the exact calendar date on which the 7-day window closes.
4. DRM and the kill switch — read this
The product we deliver is DRM-protected. It is built to require payment to keep functioning. This is the mechanism that lets us offer custom software at flat prices starting at $9.99 — we do not chase invoices, and we do not litigate. The software simply stops working if payment is not received.
Specifically:
- During the 7-day evaluation window, the product is fully functional for your testing.
- On day 7, if full payment has not been received, the DRM kill switch activates. The product stops working. A screen inside the product directs you to a payment page.
- If you complete payment after the kill switch has activated, we lift the kill and the product resumes full functionality. Completing payment is the only action needed on your side.
- If you choose not to pay, the product remains disabled. You keep any source code or exports that you downloaded during the evaluation window (subject to the license in section 6).
- The kill switch does not exfiltrate, delete, or alter data outside the product itself.
By purchasing a plan you expressly consent to this mechanism. A separate affirmative consent checkbox is presented at checkout before payment is captured.
[Counsel to finalize: exact DRM disclosure language to satisfy US CFAA, EU UCPD / CRD, UK DMCCA, India Information Technology Act (computer contaminant), Thailand Computer Crime Act. Confirm consent flow meets “clear and conspicuous” standard. Confirm that “express consent obtained at checkout + display of kill-switch terms pre-purchase” satisfies the authorised-access exception in each jurisdiction.]
5. Completing payment
Payment can be completed at any time during or after the 7-day window from (a) the checkout page referenced in your delivery email, or (b) the payment handoff built into the kill-switch screen. Successful payment unlocks the product and triggers the source-code release described in section 6.
6. Source-code license
On full payment of the flat plan price, we deliver the source code of your product to you under a license that permits continued use of the delivered version. The license is perpetual for the delivered version. Subsequent updates or new features produced by Bridgestack are separately scoped and separately priced.
[Counsel input required before launch: scope, territory, perpetual vs. fixed-term, sublicensing, modifications, third-party library licenses embedded in the deliverable, IP warranty, ownership of new work created during the build, open-source attribution.]
7. Refunds and payment disputes
See the Refund Policy for pre-delivery refunds, post-delivery refunds within the evaluation window, and pass-through cost rules.
8. Custom pricing
Some projects exceed what the self-serve plans on the plans page cover. In those cases, our platform routes you to a custom pricing process — a sales conversation — rather than quoting a flat plan price. We will not silently swap a plan's listed price for a custom quote.
