Refund Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026 · Version 0.1 (pre-launch draft)

The short version

BridgeStack, Inc. sells flat-fee builds, not subscriptions. Payment is captured only when you decide to keep the delivered product — so most “refund” questions do not apply the way they would in a SaaS product. The full rules are below.

Before delivery

You may cancel at any time before your build is delivered. If Bridgestack has not yet collected payment, there is nothing to refund. If a deposit or partial payment was taken (for example, for a custom-priced engagement), any unspent portion is refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days, minus any pass-through costs already incurred on your behalf.

During the 7-day evaluation window

You have 7 days after delivery to test the product and decide whether to complete payment. If you choose not to pay, you simply do nothing — the DRM kill switch disables the product at the end of the window. No refund is needed because we have not charged the flat plan fee yet.

If you have completed payment during the evaluation window and then change your mind within those same 7 days, email billing@bridgestack.systems. We will refund the flat plan fee, minus any pass-through costs already incurred on your behalf, and disable the deliverable.

After the 7-day window

Once the evaluation window closes and full payment has been received, the flat plan fee is non-refundable. The source-code license is active at that point and the deliverable is yours to use.

[Counsel to finalize per jurisdiction: EU CRD and UK CCRs contain a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance-sold digital services; confirm whether the 7-day evaluation + express consent exception applies to bespoke builds, or whether a 14-day refund right must be honored in EU / UK at minimum.]

Pass-through costs

Pass-through costs — domain registration, Apple Developer Program fees, code-signing certificates, App Store / Google Play fees, third-party usage charges — are paid to third parties on your behalf and are non-refundable once incurred, even during the evaluation window. These are disclosed at checkout.

If the kill switch has activated

If the kill switch has activated because payment was not completed during the 7-day window, you can still pay at any time and the product will resume full functionality. There is no penalty. We do not add fees or interest for late payment — you simply pay the listed plan price.

How to request a refund

Email us at billing@bridgestack.systems with your account email and a brief description. We respond within 3 business days.

Refunds are issued by BridgeStack, Inc. to the original payment method used at checkout.

Chargebacks

Please email us first — we will almost always resolve a billing concern faster than your bank. Disputed chargebacks on a paid deliverable may result in the kill switch being re-activated on the product pending resolution.
